Target Marketing

And we don't mean like target practice either. What we mean is picking a specific "target" to market your product/service/business to. It's not as difficult as you may thing either. It just requires some creativity on your part and a little pre-planning

Here's what we mean. Say for instance you are marketing Hot Conference, or GDI, but don't know who would use it (aside from network marketers). Do you go to the dentist? Do you have horses or know people that do?

Do you have dogs, cats or other companion animals? Don't worry if you only answered yes to one or two of these questions – there's no prize for the right answer! Just some examples on how to target market Hot Conference.

HOT CONFERENCE AND DENTISTS
Target: Customer Sales of Hot Conference to Dentists

  • Create a one page website featuring Hot Conference info for dentists - Google this as there are many different specialties for dentists. Including forensic, pediatric etc.
  • List the benefits for dentists so they realize that the HOT CONFERENCE benefits relate specifically to THEM.

They can talk to anyone any where in the world - imagine how this would translate for them into saved air fare if conference holders offered online sessions for them or vice versa. Imagine how much information they could trade while online if trying to solve a forensics case, or trade tips on treating children. Use your imagination, because uses for a dentist would be unlimited.

  • Create one page website featuring communication with hot conferencing software for veterinarians
  • Market to Veterinarians on the web using pay per click on Google. This is a specialty area, and I'm planning to be very specific with my search words.
  • List the following benefits for Veterinarians so they understand the benefits that pertain specifically to them.

Benefits are:
Online Collaboration with other vets, sharing of files, and work live via the room. Veterinarians may conduct mini seminars to increase client base awareness about their pets and use that as a platform for up selling certain services as a result increasing profitability.

Get the idea? It's pretty straight forward, and only takes a bit of creative thinking to hammer out a terrific proposal for any of the above examples. With advance planning, you will have everything under control, and can talk to any point brought up during your marketing presentation(s).

Of course, before you send any of this information, you will need to make some initial contact with your targets first. This will reduce the chances of being deleted.

Here's an example of an e mail you can use to send to a target. Let's use the Veterinarian.

Dear Dr. (Name)

Knowing how busy you are, I won't make this a long e mail. I have information on a conferencing software program that would be extremely profitable for your business.

Two of its benefits include: online collaboration with other Vets and Labs, sharing of files and work live via the conference room. The ability to conduct mini seminars to increase client awareness about their pets

GLOBAL DOMAIN INTERNATIONAL (GDI)

Okay, a couple of examples on how to target market GDI.

Target: Customer Sales of GDI to Cat Breeders

1. Create a one page website featuring GDI info for CAT Breeders who do choose to sell their kittens, mention if they do not have a site already, or are not happy with the one they currently have, that GDI can help them build their own site and FOL can teach team building and marketing online for team building based products and or services. Google any breed for sites and go from there.

2. List the following benefits for cat breeders so they realize that GDI could benefit them specifically.

  • Easy to build your own web page right on site.
  • Hosting available as well (should the breeder not have a site or be near the end of their contract with another host provider.
  • That they can use URL Forwarding of their .ws domain to any other WebSite that they want. The total package is only $10 a month - but FREE to use for 7 days when they first join.
  • In addition to hosting, web site building on their site, they can build their OWN site and upload it for hosting.
  • If they are happy with how their site is operating and meets their expectations, then reselling GDI would offer them another revenue stream that would be more stable and reliable than once a year (or possibly twice) breedings
