There are some basic tools that you will need to succeed, here are just a few of them
Emails and Instant Messenger:
Several of the Follow Our Lead team members have a Yahoo account for business since this also gives you an instant messenger tool that will allow you to communicate with other team members for support as well as allowing you to communicate with potential prospects. There are other programs available and many netrepreneurs use some or all of them. Remember when choosing an email name that it is for business purposes and should reflect a business attitude.
Below is a list of email programs and corresponding instant messenger services.
1. Yahoo
Register for a new email account at http://mail.yahoo.com click on the SIGN UP link.The name on your email will also serve as an instant messenger ID. Download the Yahoo instant messenger here - http://messenger.yahoo.com or use the web based version here http://webmessenger.yahoo.com
2. Skype - GREAT for International Leaders
Register for a new account and download Skype at http://www.skype.com
3. AIM
AIM is the AOL instant messenger service, to see more info on AIM go to http://www.aim.com. Note: we do not recommend an AOL account for marketing online due to some of their protocols regarding online marketing.
4. Hotmail & Messenger
Hotmail & Messenger are distributed by MSN. You can get your Hotmail email account at http://join.msn.com. The name on your email will also serve as an instant messenger ID. To download the MSN instant MESSENGER go to http://get.live.com.
6. Trillian
Want to manage several messenger services in one? Then Trillian might be the answer for you. To see what Trillian has to offer visit http://www.ceruleanstudios.com. You may purchase the PRO version for a low one time yearly fee or there is a FREE downloadable version available. Trillian communicates with Yahoo messenger, AIM, MSN messenger and Google Talk all in one convenient interface.
Manage Your Contacts
To be successful you need to be organized. Online communication is paramount to succeed. If you are using a personal email address get an email management program such as Outlook Express or Outlook. Note: hotmail accounts can also be used in Outlook Express or Outlook.
To download Outlook Express go to http://microsoft.com/downloads If you are utilizing Yahoo email accounts, they have new management software available that works completely online.
