How To Generate Leads - Where do YOU Find Leads?
Lead generation can be achieved in many ways. The following is an example of the various ways to find leads:
- Search Engine Optimization.
- Bounce Backs.
- You will need to be patient and persistent.
- Networking.
- Target Marketing.
- Lead Purchasing.
Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
SEO as it's know is utilized by small to Fortune 500 companies on the internet to improve their exposure online to obtain a larger market share of customers. SEO is broken down into two categories.
Pay Per Click In the case of Pay Per Click the website that is being utilized needs to be optimized for the target audience. This means you audience must first be identified, then appropriate content supplied to cater to that market. Once the website is optimized with key words and content to appeal to the target market, then Pay Per Click sellers such as Google's Adsense or Yahoo, and Overture are targeted for a marketing campaign.
SEO Pay Per Click can be cost effective if you truly know what you are doing, however their is a huge learning curve for it and it is an art of itself. If you don't know what you are doing it can be a very expensive proposition.
Natural or Organic Natural or Organic searches utilize the keywords in conjunction with content, of the website to bring results. A natural of organic search is not paid for it is based on how the search engines rank you.
This method requires a large amount of relevant fresh content that targets your market. If you copy other people's works or don't have fresh content regularly then you will loose ranking. This method requires a fair amount of time and a working knowledge of what the various search engines are looking for with regard to content and originality.
Bounce Backs
A bounce back is a response to an opportunity email that someone sent you. Bounce backs make good candidates as they are obviously actively building a business. To get started with bounce backs you will need to be receiving what a lot of people consider SPAM.
All though emails of this nature can be a nuisance they can also be a goldmine. The bounce back process is made up of getting on lists, verifying emails sent to you as being good prospects and learning how to respond to the various types.
Networking
This is often the simplest method for most people. If you enjoy talking with others and building relationships through groups and forums than adapting your approach and creating relationships with people that have an interest in network marketing are a good choice.
Its as simple as just talking to people and being open and friendly. We utilize Yahoo Groups, Google Groups and other online forums such as MySpace and industry specific places like Ryze.
Target Marketing
We utilize target marketing in many ways. Firstly we can contact individuals that are in one of the programs the team promotes whether they are enrolled in that program with one of our team or not. This provides us with people that are all ready into marketing, and we can provide them with the training and support that they are probably lacking to succeed.
The other area of target marketing is contacting people with similar personal interests to what you have, thus having a common ground to start communication that lead to you telling them what you do.
Lead Purchasing
